大连市金石滩景区·DaLian, Liaoning·Northeast China

The resort occupies its own peninsula about 50 km east of downtown Dalian; the elevated Line 3 light rail is the spine that makes a car unnecessary.

Visitor route map of Golden Pebble Beach (Jinshitan)
Rocks, then sand — the geological coast from Dinosaur Garden to Aotan's Turtle-Back Rock and back past the Rose Garden, the golden maze of Jinshi Garden, then the numbered gates of Golden Coast to the Tang-style Jinshi Wanxiang street and wedding plaza.

By Light Rail (Metro Line 3)

From the north side of Dalian Railway Station direct to Jinshitan terminal in roughly 50–60 minutes; frequent trains arrive at the resort's visitor-service center, where the in-resort shuttles depart.

From the Airport

Lübei express bus or route 2003 to Zhanbei Square, a 340-metre walk to Dalian Station, then Line 3 — or bus 710 to Xianglujiao and transfer; a taxi or Didi takes about an hour.

From Dalian North Station

High-speed-rail arrivals take routes 1012, 2001 or 516 to the Houyan, Jinma Road or Quanshui light-rail stations, then Line 3 out to the terminal.

By Car

Shenhai Expressway to Heda Expressway, exit at Dongjiagou, then Huanghai Avenue and Jinshi Road; parking at the resort lots and at Discover Kingdom.

By Ferry

Boats from Yantai and Weihai across the Bohai Strait dock at Dalian port — Jinshitan is then a 60–90-minute transfer by rail or car.
