Getting to Daxiaodongtian (Caves of Heaven), Sanya

The park sits in Nanshan village, Yazhou District, about 40 km west of downtown Sanya — 50–60 minutes by road, and 35–40 minutes from Phoenix International Airport.

By car or taxi

Hainan Round-Island Expressway G98 to the Yacheng exit, then about ten minutes on the local road; on-site parking runs a few yuan an hour; ride-hailing from downtown costs roughly ¥50–80.

By bus from Sanya

Sanya buses 25 (from Yalong Bay via downtown and Sanya Bay) and 30 run west to the park gate; allow about 1.5 hours from downtown.

By local bus

Yazhou Line 6 from Yazhou Station and the Tourism-Culture special line also stop at the park — handy links if you arrive by rail or stay in Yacheng.

By high-speed rail

Hainan's Western Ring line to Yazhou Station, then Yazhou Line 6 or a short taxi; the Sanya–Ledong tourist railway also serves Yazhouwan Station.

By coach day-tour

Abundant day tours from any Sanya resort hub bundle Nanshan Cultural Zone, Daxiaodongtian and Tianya Haijiao into one relaxed west-coast loop.

Getting Around

Inside, the ¥28 sightseeing shuttle (coffee coupon included) runs from the west gate to far-end Xiaoyue Bay first, then hops back stop by stop — the park is long and linear, so pair cart legs with coastal walking. By taxi: Nanshan Cultural Zone 8 minutes, Tianya Haijiao 12 minutes.
